You may have to repeat this process many times until you reach your goal. It can help to write a to-do list, if necessary. Make a list of all the tasks you need to complete, organized by their respective priorities. Lay out your day At the end of each day, make a list of what needs to be accomplished the next day and how it will be accomplished. Get organized Find a place to put all your necessary supplies, such as pens, notepads, and paper clips, so that they are always within reach. 3) Set deadlines first write down your goals and deadlines for today, tomorrow, or next week. set a timer for 25 minutes and work on the tasks you set out during that time. Whenever the timer sounds, take a five minute break, and return to complete another round with a new task if time permits. Perform this process repeatedly until you complete everything on your list for the day or week and more quickly. Always make time to get up earlier Wake up an hour early so you can have time to work on your hardest task at the beginning of the day, before distractions set in, and then tackle other responsibilities to get as much done as possible by the end of the day. 4) Delegate and outsource It's important to delegate and outime tasks that you don't have the time or skills for. Outsourcing is a great way of delegating work and can help improve your time management skills. There are plenty of freelance jobs available, so it's easy to find someone who does the same work as you, but at a lower cost than if you were paying them in your office. You can also hire virtual assistants (VA) to do routine tasks for you on an hourly basis. You can also look into hiring an accountant or lawyer - which will free up more time for yourself, and make sure you're always following all legal guidelines. 5) Automate your processes If you're struggling with time management, it's probably because you're not managing your time effectively. Making a simple change such as automating certain processes can make all the difference. Try using an automated system like Workstatus, Toggl or Harvest, or even something as simple as a digital timer, which will help you keep track of how much time you spend on various tasks. 6) Review your progress Take some time to review the seven steps outlined above, find what works best for you, and put it into action!
